Michaela Covelli and Alex Rickert of Elmhurst, Ill., were married on June 15th, 2018 at Discovery World in Milwaukee, Wisc. Laura Hansen officiated the 5 PM ceremony for the daughter of Louis and Susan Covelli of Kenosha and the son of Michael and Sandra Rickert of Ida Grove, Iowa.
Alyssa Colwill, sister of the Bride, was the Matron of Honor. Andrea Sauve, Jessica Ori, Kelly Capel, and Megan Tira were the Bridesmaids. Jackie Fisher, Maggie Evers and Katie Evers, nieces of the Groom, were the Junior Bridesmaids.
Samuel Knoblauch, friend of the Groom, was the Best Man. Taylor Noble, Drake Miller, Dane Reiter, and Nate Bolhous were the Groomsmen. Nick Edsen, Eric Edsen and Angela Evers, sister of the Groom, were the Ushers.
Michaela graduated from Tremper High School and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed an internship with the University of Wisconsin-Madison and went on to receive a Master’s degree for Physician’s Assistant at the Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, Ill. Michaela is employed as a Physician’s Assistant and Registered Dietitian in endocrinology metabolism and diabetics with the DuPage Medical Group in the Chicago area.
Alex graduated from Battle Creek Ida Grove High School in Ida Grove, Iowa and Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in the Liberal Arts. He is employed as the Director of Logistics Supply Chain at Pro-Line Safety Products in West Chicago, Ill.
A reception was held at Discovery World following the ceremony to celebrate the couple. The couple took a mini-moon to Traverse City, Mich., and are planning their honeymoon for winter of 2019. The couple will reside in Elmhurst, Ill.
