A number of area students have been named to 2019 spring academic honors. at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
They were named to either the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). Among area students recognized were: Madison LeRoy of Bristol, on the President’s List; Miranda Reed of Burlington, President’s List; Evelyn Sibley of Burlington, President’s List; Clayton Gotberg of Kenosha, Dean’s List’ Alexsis Kempin-Ellis of Kenosha, Dean’s List; Samantha Massoglia of Kenosha, Dean’s List; Evan Bauerschmidt of Pleasant Prairie, Dean’s List; Abbey Birschbach of Pleasant Prairie, President’s List; and Evan Kresse of Pleasant Prairie, Dean’s List.
n Blake Root from Kenosha was named to the spring 2019 dean’s list in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The Dean’s List honors students who were enrolled in 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average for the term.
n Luke Horner of Kenosha, Jeffrey Steuck of Pleasant Prairie and Julia Ziemelis of Bristol earned spots on the University of Dayton’s spring 2019 dean’s list, which honors undergraduate students achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester.
n Abigail Clark of Twin Lakes and Brett Niederer of Kenosha were named to the dean’s list by Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., for the 2019 spring term. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.
n Matthew Gunkel, a management major from Burlington, was named to the 2019 spring dean’s list at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa.
