Alexandria Wiseman, 20, the daughter of Kimberly Wiseman of Kenosha, has won the national title of Miss Princess of America.

The Princess of America Pageant was held July 29-Aug. 2 in Branson, Mo. Girls from all over the country competed for the national crown.

Required categories of competition included Interview, Personal On Stage Introduction, Formal Wear and On Stage Question. Participants also had the opportunity to enter the optional categories of Talent, Spokesmodel, State Costume, Casual Wear, Photogenic, Cover Model and “Pink Carpet Couture” modeling.

Wiseman received the official custom crown, banner, trophy, cash scholarship, travel opportunities including a Caribbean cruise, and other gifts and prizes. She was treated to a professional photo shoot and escorted to their first appearance in a limousine the night after crowning.

She will spend a year traveling to other states, making appearances to represent the Princess of America Organization and promoting her platform, “She Believes,” empowering individuals of all abilities to achieve their dreams.

The Princess of America Organization is a national pageant system based on the development of confidence and leadership skills for girls, ages 4-24. An emphasis is placed upon community service and giving back to their community to make a positive difference.

Princess of America awards 10 national titles. In addition to one title being awarded in each of the six age divisions, there are four other national titles. The “Superstar” title is awarded to the overall talent winner. The “Sweetheart” title is awarded to highest scoring runner-up. The two “Ambassador” titles, one for the junior divisions and one for the senior divisions, are awarded based on the community service work and volunteerism during their reign as a state titleholder.

During the pageant, each participant had the opportunity to participate in the national service project, which involved collecting non-perishable food items for Christian Action Ministries, a local food pantry serving the Branson area. The 2018 Princess of America reigning titleholders also spent time at CAM to stock the shelves with the donated goods and learn more about the organization.

Wiseman is a junior at Carroll University. She enjoys volunteering and spending time with her friends and family.

The public can follow her journey this year on social media on Facebook at Miss Princess of America and on Instagram @poa_miss, and learn more about the Princess of America organization at www.princessofamerica.com.
