Bradford High School
Parents: Mike and Jenny Baker
Most memorable high school moment: My friends and I decided to have a “girls night” to help us relieve some stress. It was a pretty basic night, yet it was one of my favorite nights. We went to Texas Roadhouse and talked forever; then Jordan and I went back to Lexis’ house and exchanged gifts. We took a small trip to Walmart and the Dollar store and bought everything to do a gingerbread house contest. Throughout all of this, our stress was going down and we could not stop laughing. Definitely one of my favorite moments in high school.
Most influential teacher: Susan Akina
Class taught: Biology and Human Anatomy
Please explain why: She helped me realize that nursing was a perfect fit for me. Every class she taught I would struggle in; however, I was still able to pass the classes. When I first started, I thought there was no way to pass the class because of how difficult it was; however, how she taught everything allowed me to understand the concepts a lot more clearly. I learned so many important things in her classroom and they have spanned from different classrooms to my real life.
