2019 Kenosha County Fair schedule

Wednesday, Aug. 14

Hours: 8 a.m. to midnight

Midway (carnival rides): 1 to 10 p.m.; wristband special (unlimited rides from 1 to 9 p.m.) is $25

All day: Kenosha County Sheriff’s Mobile Command Unit, ATV and Snowmobile on Display (south of Poultry Barn)

9 a.m.: Open Class Judging — Clothing, Knitting, Crocheting, Home Furnishings, Flowers, Vegetables, Plants and Photography (Open Class Building)

9 a.m.: Open Class Swine Show, followed by Junior Fair Swine Show (Show  and Sale Arena)

9 a.m.: Junior Fair Dog Show (between the Commercial Building and the Fair Office)

3 p.m.: Open Class Sheep Show, followed by Junior Sheep Show (Show  and Sale Arena)

5:30 p.m.: Junior Amateur Talent Competition (Creekside Stage)

6:30 p.m.: AG Olympics; public welcome to participate (Show  and Sale Arena)

6:30 p.m.: Digger Doug’s ATV/UTV Fair Quad Classic at the Grandstand

2 p.m.: The Southport Sound Polka Band

8 p.m.: Blue Steel (country band)

Thursday, Aug. 15

Hours: 8 a.m. to midnight

Midway (carnival rides): 1 to 11 p.m.; wristband special (unlimited rides from 1 to 10 p.m.) is $25

8 a.m.: Junior Fair Poultry Show (east of Poultry Building)

9 a.m.: Open Class Foods judging (Open Class Building)

10 a.m.: Open Class Cultural Arts Judging (Open Class Building)

10 a.m.: Junior Fair Beef Show, followed by Open Class Beef Show (Show and Sale Arena)

10 a.m.: Children’s Scavenger Hunt; pick up clue sheets at the ticket gates and turn in sheets by 2:30 p.m. (For ages 12 and younger)

10 a.m.: Pedal Tractor Pull registration, for ages 5-12 (north of 4-H Exhibit Buildings)

Noon to 2 p.m.: Kenosha County Sheriff’s Bear Cat Vehicle & TRT Gear on display (south of Poultry Barn)

2 p.m.: Junior Fair Poultry Showmanship (east of Poultry Building)

3 p.m.: Open Class Poultry Show (east of Poultry Building)

3 p.m.: Junior & Open Class Goat Show (Show and Sale Arena)

5:30 p.m.: Antique Tractor Parade (starts at Antique Machinery and continues through Grandstand area)

6 p.m.: Amateur Wine Competition Results (Barrel Room)

6 p.m.: Truck and Tractor Pull, followed by Combine Demolition Derby (Grandstand)

2 p.m.: KR Bluegrass Band

Friday, Aug. 16

Hours: 8 a.m. to midnight

Midway (carnival rides): Noon to 11 p.m.; one ticket off each ride, noon to 5p.m.; wristband specials: noon to 5 p.m. $15, or noon to 1 p.m., $25

8 a.m.: Junior Fair Rabbit Show, followed by Open Class Rabbit Show (north of Rabbit Building)

8 a.m.: Junior Fair Horse and Pony Show (Horse Show Ring)

9 a.m.: Junior Fair Dairy Show, followed by Open Class Dairy Show (Show and Sale Arena)

9:30 a.m.: Children’s Parade registration begins at the Fair Office (ages 14 and younger)

1 p.m.: Open Class Flower Arrangements and Cheese Judging (Open Class Building)

4 p.m.: Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Unit Demonstration (south of Poultry Barn)

5 p.m.: 4-H Fish Casting Contest (at Fish Pond)

6 p.m.: Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Unit Demonstration (south of Poultry Building)

6:30 p.m.: Hay Bale Throwing Contest for all ages (Show and Sale Arena)

6:45 p.m.: Friday Night Thunder: Modified and stock car racing with a special performance by Bigfoot monster truck (Grandstands; $5 admission fee for ages 12 and older)

Saturday, Aug. 17
