Jason Lyle Black, an award-winning pianist, composer and comedic entertainer, is performing a free concert Tuesday night (Oct. 8) at Carthage College.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Theatre on the Carthage campus, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
Black — known as “The Backwards Piano Man” — is an arranger and YouTube star who has reached millions with his combination of music and comedy.
He has performed across the country and is best known for his appearance on the “Ellen” daytime talk show. His other accomplishments include reaching No. 1 and No. 2 on iTunes and Billboard charts for his album “Piano Preludes” and being honored as a Juried Showcase Artist in 2018.

Black’s performance in Kenosha is part of his national tour that continues into the summer of 2020.
Black’s shows include a variety of comedy, music and audience interaction. His performances include “Rhapsody in Blue,” “Song on the Spot” and “Phantom of the Opera.”
