Saturday (Sept. 14), Jerry Smith Produce & Pumpkin Farm’s fall season opens. The farm is located at 7150 18th St. Bring your family to enjoy one-of-a-kind pumpkin displays! It’s free to visit the pumpkin displays; there’s an admission fee for the additional attractions, such as the corn maze, petting zoo, hayrides, Dr. Destruction’s Haunted Forest, and much more. Also Saturday, enjoy the city of Kenosha’s Fall Festival, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Park, 625 52nd St. Enjoy giant pumpkins, free family activities and entertainment. The Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers will host a weigh-off, with prize money for the largest pumpkin. Admission is free. For more information, call 262-653-4177.

Saturday, enjoy Old Settlers Oktoberfest, noon to 8 p.m. at Old Settlers Park, 24100 75th St. in Paddock Lake. This is a family friendly German-themed festival features the popular Dachshund Dash, games, food and beverages, live music, chainsaw carving and more. Admission and parking are free. Saturday evening, participate in the Glow in the Garten 3K at the Petrifying Springs Biergarten, 5555 7th St. A short race for kids will step off at 6:30 p.m. The main race will begin at 7:15 p.m. and is open to all ages. Saturday night, take a Candlelight Hike, 7 to 9 p.m. at Richard Bong State Recreation Area, 26313 Burlington Road. Bring the family to hike the two-mile trail on your own or join a shorter guided hike. There will be a bonfire for marshmallows. Meet at the Visitor Center. Note: The hike is free, but a daily or annual state park vehicle admission sticker is required to enter Bong. For more information, call 262-878-5601.
