Through Sunday (Aug. 18), enjoy the Kenosha County Fair at 30820 111th St. (Highway W) in Wilmot. Gates are open at 8 a.m. to midnight tonight, Friday and Saturday nights and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. The 99th annual fair features a carnival midway, exhibits, demolition derbies, a truck and tractor pull, live music and much more. General admission is $10 and under; general parking is free. Today through Sunday, enjoy the Downtown Kenosha Pop-Up Beer Garden at Simmons Island Beach, 5001 Fourth Avenue. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. today (Aug. 15), 2 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy local brews, local eats and amazing talent. Friday evening, enjoy the Pike River Benefit Concert Series, 6 to 9 p.m. at Hawthorn Hollow, 880 Green Bay Road. Enjoy an evening of live music at an outdoor amphitheater nestled along the Pike River. $10 admission, with food and beverages available for purchase. Saturday, enjoy the HarborPark Jazz, Rhythm & Blues Festival at HarborPark Celebration Place, 5501 Calabria Way (Ring Road, downtown at the lakefront). Gates open at 12:30 p.m. The music lineup includes Natty Nation, Christopher’s Project, Joe Jordan, Nora Jean Bruso Blues Band and saxophonist Paul Taylor. Also featuring an arts and crafts village, a firefighters’ cook-off competition and more. General admission lawn seats are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate. Sunday, shop at the Kenosha ArtMarket, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Union Park, 4600 Seventh Ave. The casual park setting will feature vendors selling original artwork while live performances are scheduled throughout the event. Admission is free. For more information, call 262-605-4745.
