Who loves FREE stuff? We love free stuff! To celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week, local attractions have been offering free admission or other freebies each day this week. The celebration wraps up today and Saturday with these offers: The Civil War Museum offers free admission today to “The Fiery Trial” exhibit and the 360-degree film. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. And on Saturday, Kenosha’s electric streetcars are free all day, from 10:35 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. For more details, go to www.VisitKenosha.com/TourismWeek
The Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave., is hosting a “Cans Film Festival” from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be a film for adults in the activities room and family friendly films and other fun stuff in the library’s children’s department. Admission at the door is one canned good or other non-perishable food item per person. All donations will go to local food pantries (Note: Do not bring items past their expiration date).
“Noises Off” — a farce about a play production that goes completely off the rails — continues its run tonight at the Rhode Center for the Arts. Tickets are $10-$13. The final two performances are 7:30 tonight and Saturday night. For tickets, go to www.rhodecenter.org.
