  • 0

God’s Kitchen of Kenosha will be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 17.

God’s Kitchen, operated by Arnetta Griffin, provides free meals twice each day to people in the Uptown area. For holidays, Griffin hosts meals and celebrations for the community.

The Thanksgiving event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 6700 30th Ave.

Griffin is seeking donations for the Thanksgiving celebration and for daily meals in the community. Most needed are donations of ground beef, chicken, ham, turkeys, shredded cheese and gift cards for retailers like Walmart, Aldis or Gordon Food Service. Also appreciated are donations of socks and winter coats. To set up a donation call Griffin at 262-997-7136.
