Chef David’s Catered Events, a longtime fixture in Kenosha, has hired a top local restaurant chef to join its team.

Chef Mary Radigan recently joined the Chef David’s team and hit the ground running.

“Mary’s skill set is remarkable,” Chef David Perez said. “I look forward to her being a big part of the team and the future of Chef David’s.”

Radigan spent the early part of her 20-year career in the Chicago, New York, and European markets-learning the trade under award-winning chefs in seven of the top 50 restaurants in the world. She has spent the past 10 years leading kitchen operations at fine dining restaurants in the Kenosha area.

“I am excited to be joining the Chef David’s team,” said Radigan. “I knew it would be a good fit as I’ve always enjoyed special events with Chef David and his wife Kathy. I like the new challenge catering offers as no event is ever the same. Creating personalized menus with Chef David is another aspect that I already love- we complement each other, and I love how creative I can get while we bounce ideas off of one another.”

Though the duo has never worked together in their professional capacities, they have collaborated at local charity events such as the Harbor Park Jazz and the Rhythm & Blues Festival.

Chef Radigan will have the responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business as executive chef.
