Inc. magazine has selected Kenosha’s Leeward Business Advisors and Vantage Point Corp. among its 2019 list of 5,000 fastest growing privately held small business companies in America.

The Kenosha companies were among 49 Wisconsin firms selected by Inc.

Leeward Business Advisors, a business management advisement and technical support firm, was selected 1,024th on the listing that was released Wednesday. A company spokesman said it was the first time the company has made the listing.

Located at 5723 Sixth Ave., Leeward often serves as a company’s full information technology support service.

In 2016, it was selected by the Kenosha Area Business Alliance as one of its Fast Five companies based upon financial, business market and employee growth.

The firm has grown from three employees to 25 in the past five years and serves more than 150 unique business. In 2018, the firm moved to downtown Kenosha and doubled its office space.

“I am humbled by our team’s business success and thrilled by their commitment and involvement in our community. They bring amazing value on and off the clock,” said Leeward CEO Michael Polzin.

Vantage Point Corp., 5700 77th St., a computer hardware and software firm, was selected as the 4,505th fastest growing company. Founded in 2006, it has 42 employees.

VPC Sells computer hardware and software to individuals, businesses and governments online.

The company also offers IT, cloud, and proactive monitoring and management services to its corporate and government clients.

Vantage Point also made the list last year, ranking 3,379th.

Inc 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period.
