A 22-year-old is recovering from a gunshot wound, one of several incidents in which gunfire was reported in Kenosha over the weekend.
Kenosha Police were called to the 1500 block of 61st Street at 3:39 a.m. Saturday for a report that a man had been shot.
They found the 22-year-old had been shot in the leg.
They also found shell casings from two different weapons at the scene.
The injured man remains hospitalized in stable condition.
There were several other incidents of shots being fired over the weekend:
At about 10 p.m. Sunday, police were called to the 6000 block of 14th Avenue for a report of gunfire.
They found a house that appeared to have been targeted. Bullet holes were found in the house, but no one was injured. Four shell casings were found at the scene.
On Saturday at about 9:40 a.m. a resident of the 3700 block of 62nd Street reported finding bullet holes in a parked car.
Police believe that damage may be related to a shots-fired call reported at about 10 p.m. on July 11.
A witness had reported hearing shots in the area at that time and seeing two men running from that area, but police found no evidence of gunfire at the time of the call.
