Golf course break-in attempt fails
Someone attempted — and failed — to break into a storage building at the Washington Park Municipal Golf Course.
According to a police report, employees called police to the golf course, 2205 Washington Road, at 6:17 a.m. Monday.
A steel door to a storage building was damaged, with the lock broken off. In addition, it appeared there were multiple strikes of an object to a door handle.
However, it appeared no one was able to make it through the door.
