Tuesday was a musical night in Kenosha as big crowds turned out for a pair of concerts.
The final Twilight Jazz concert for the season at the Kemper Center, 6501 Eighth Ave., featured the UW-Parkside Reunion Big Band playing big band classics.
Meanwhile, the Tuesdays at the Shell series at the Sesquicentennial Band Shell in Pennoyer Park, 3500 Seventh Ave., continued with the Doo Wop Daddies singing tunes from the 1950s and 1960s.
Both concerts began under sunny skies after rain in the afternoon cleared out.
While Twilight Jazz has concluded for the season, Tuesdays at the Shell still has one more concert: Boys and Toys, a Kenosha rock band, will perform Aug. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.
