How did you get started? We moved from Florida in 2017 and we were looking to connect to the community and spread the word about our culture and food. The Kenosha HarborMarket offered that opportunity and we are enjoying it.
What do regular customers say about you? So far, good things about the food and service.
What do you like about Kenosha’s market? This great market is in the Top 10 in the country and has great vendors that give the market an international variety.
What’s your most unique or unusual market story? On our first week at the market a customer from Wisconsin asked us for a “Reina Pepiada” Arepa. It was in perfect Spanish and with a real accent from Caracas. He worked in Venezuela for some years and was surprised that the market was offering Arepas. And we were surprised that someone so far away likes our Queen Arepa. He is a loyal customer since then.
Do you have other favorite stands at the market? Cake My Day, Olano’s, Pedro’s
