Cuddly plushes help Twin Lakes K-9 unit

A plush version of Rex, the Twin Lakes Police Department’s police dog, is now available for purchase as part of a fundraising campaign for the canine program.

The souvenirs, which have Rex in a law enforcement vest and patch, also have a tag with a photo of Rex.

The cost is $20. The price is reduced to $15 for each additional plush dog.

They are available at the front counter of the Twin Lakes Police Department, 920 Lance Drive.

Cash and checks are accepted. Checks should be made out payable to “Village of Twin Lakes K9 Fund.”

Proceeds raised will go directly to the K9 fund, which will help fund dog food, toys, training aids and pet cleaning supplies for the inside of the K9 squad car.
