‘Walk-In Wednesday’ at St. Catherine’s

PLEASANT PRAIRIE — “Walk-In Wednesday,” an employment event, takes place 2 to 5 p.m. April 3 at St. Catherine’s Medical Center, 9555 76th St.

During the event, there will be on-the-spot interviews for registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, surgical techs, medical laboratory scientists, unit secretaries and student nurse interns.

Participants should RSVP by Wednesday, though it is not required.

County to host town hall meeting for veterans

KENOSHA — The Kenosha County Division of Veterans Services will host a town hall meeting 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kenosha County Job Center, 8600 Sheridan Road, in Kenosha.

The event will include information on benefits and services for veterans. There will also be a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.

Managing short-term hospitalization topic of Lunch & Learn event

BRISTOL — “Managing Short-term Hospitalization of Your Loved One with Dementia” is the title for this week’s Kenosha County Caregiver Lunch & Learn event.

Free and open to the public, the program will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Westosha Senior Community Center, 19200 93rd St.

Soup, sandwiches, salad and fruit will be served as part of the senior dining program. Registration is required to meet dining needs.

KENOSHA — An advanced class in making soaps with color and fragrance meets 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lemon Street Gallery, 4601 Sheridan Road.

KENOSHA — A four-week “Painting: Beginner and Beyond” class begins Thursday at Lemon Street Gallery, 4601 Sheridan Road.
