Bingo games slated at Moose Lodge
KENOSHA — Senior Action Council bingo takes place 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Moose Lodge, 3005 30th Ave.
Early birds start at 10:30 a.m., with the regular session at 11:30 a.m.
Food and beverages are available for purchase. There are raffles and door prizes as well.
Sewing day at Community Library
SALEM LAKES — A sewing day will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Community Library, 24615 89th St.
Everyone interested in sewing — all levels and styles — is invited to attend. Advice will be available on a variety of sewing methods and crafts.

Carthage to host Nursing Visit Day
KENOSHA — Carthage College is hosting a Nursing Visit Day 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday on the Carthage campus, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
The event, aimed at students considering attending Carthage to study nursing, will include a presentation about admissions and financial aid, a presentation by the director of nursing, a question-and-answer session and a student-led campus tour that includes the nursing learning labs.

‘Books & Cookies’ meets at library
KENOSHA — “Books & Cookies” meets 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.
Children in grades K-2 will hear a story, then partake in crafts related to the book while enjoying cookies and working on literacy skills.
Pokémon Club to meet Thursday
KENOSHA — The Pokémon Club — for children in grades K-5 — meets 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.
Participants can play Pokémon games, trade cards, play board games or learn to draw Pokémon.
Program on essential oils at Festival FoodsSOMERS — A program on using essential oils to support those with memory loss and their caregivers, begins Monday in the Community Room at Festival Foods, 6000 31st St.
Registration is due by Dec. 6.
The free, two-part program meets 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Monday’s program will focus on using essential oils for supporting memory care. Tuesday’s session will look at self-care for caregivers.
The program is hosted by Azura Memory Care along with Christina LeRose, owner of Essentially Free Living, and doTerra Wellness Advocates.
