The Durkee Mansion and the Gallery of Trees are open from 1 to 7 p.m. today for free holiday tours at the Kemper Center, 6501 Third Ave. The historic mansion is decorated in the style of the 1860s with a theme of “Victorian Holiday Eve.” At the Gallery of Trees, in Kemper’s Conference Center, visitors can view designer-decorated trees, wreaths, mantel-pieces and centerpieces. Admission is free. The Durkee Mansion and Gallery of Trees are also open 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Jazz performs tonight in Bedford Concert Hall. 7 p.m. in the school’s Bedford Concert Hall, on the west side of the campus at 900 Wood Road. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for senior citizens, students and UW-Parkside staff. 262-595-2564.

In Milwaukee tonight, the Cirque Dreams Holidaze show opens a two-night stand at the Riverside Theater. The show features acrobatic acts performed by toy soldiers, snowmen, penguins, candles, reindeer, gingerbread, carolers, Santa and colossal ornaments. 7:30 tonight and Wednesday night.
