Worker hurt in industrial accident

Kenosha Police responding to a series of 911 hangup calls at POP Manufacturing, 9009 Sheridan Road, at about 3 p.m. Monday, found that a worker had been injured in an industrial accident.

When police arrived they learned a worker’s hand was caught in a power saw, and that another employee had taken that man to a hospital.

Police went to the emergency room and learned that the man, a temporary worker at the business, had his hand pulled into the saw.

Doctors told police he would need surgery to repair the injury, but that there was no amputation.
