The fourth annual Kenosha County Transition Fair will be 8:30 a.m. to noon April 6 at Reuther High School, 913 57th St.
This event is geared toward students, parents, caregivers and others who may help a young adult “transition” into life after high school.
The Transition Fair will showcase resources for students who are age 14 and older.
The Transition Fair is sponsored by the Kenosha County Communities on Transition.
The event will feature two main events: vendor booths and training classes.
More than 35 vendors are expected to have booths at the event. Their services range from benefits to financial services to sports.
Five training classes will cover a variety of topics. Registration is not required to attend.
The sessions include:
9 a.m.: What is Transition?
9:30 a.m.: Social Security Benefits
10 a.m.: Guardianship
10:30 a.m. Special Needs Trusts — WisPact
11 a.m.: Self-Directed Supports
