Motorcyclist flown to Milwaukee-area hospital following accident

SALEM LAKES — A motorcyclist was transported via Flight For Life helicopter to a Milwaukee-area hospital following an accident in the 11000 block of Highway B on Wednesday night.

The 28-year-old from Twin Lakes was flown to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa following the 8:57 p.m. single-vehicle accident, according to Sgt. Michael Weyker of the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department.

According to the sheriff's department, the man was found lying in a ditch by passersby.  His condition is unknown, but his injuries were considered life threatening.

Speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash according to the sheriff's department.
