KPD arrest man for threatening woman
Police arrested a Kenosha man after he made threats to assault a woman at a home in the 1300 lock of 67th Place on Thursday.
The 20-year-old man was taken into custody following the 4:52 p.m. incident, according to a Kenosha Police Department report. He was released on bond. Police recommended charges of disorderly conduct.
According to the report, the woman argued with the suspect over the mistreatment of a relative. When she began calling police, the man told her he would break her jaw. After officers arrested him, he made further threats to harm her.
SOMERS — A woman reported that someone took a beehive from her property in the 1300 block of Sheridan Road earlier this month.
According to a Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department report, the 3-foot-tall hive, painted pastel green and pink with a metal top, was reported missing sometime between 7 p.m. March 14 and 8 a.m. March 15.
The hive, valued at $400, contained about 100 pounds of honey, according to the report.
