"Wisconsin has now topped the 1 million mark in presidential votes cast which is more than one-third of the number of people that voted in 2016 in the presidential election," Craig Gilbert, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Washington Bureau Chief, said during the Customers First! Coalition October 21 event. Gilbert provided an election overview on results for absentee voting and early voting as we near election day. "I think there's a great expectation in the political world that turn out will definitely be higher than it was last time when almost 3 million people in Wisconsin voted," Gilbert said.
