Donald W. DeVuyst1937 – 2012Donald W. DeVuyst, 75, of Lyons, passed away July 25, 2012, in the loving presence of his family.

He was born May 11, 1937 to Chester and Kathleen (nee Habel) DeVuyst in Bristol, Wis. Don married the love of his life, Susan DeVuyst, on Oct. 22, 1972 and together they raised six children.

Don was a proud Veteran who served on the U.S.S. Pine Island in the Navy. Don retired as a Master Motorman from the Northshore Railroad. A devoted family man, Don was a loving care giver to his wife and son. Don had been a member of the Moose Club for over 50 years. He truly enjoyed the time he spent with his friends in the coffee clutch club.

Don is survived by his children, Don (Tricia) Jr., Debra (Tom Gilley), Barbara (Stefan Brusky), Douglas, Darren and Dean; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Kevin and Waylon. He will also be missed by Sammy and Sassy his beloved pets.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; his parents; and his sister, Barbara DeVuyst.

The service / Reception will be on Thursday August 2, 2012 at the Moose Lodge (3003 30th Avenue, Kenosha, WI ) from 5 p.m. 8:30 p.m. Service at 5:30 with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
