1930 -- 2010

Joseph Yuknis, 80, of Randall Township passed away Monday, July 12, 2010, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. He was born on March 2, 1930, the son of the late Joseph and Veronica Ambrose Yuknis. On June 25, 1955, he was united in marriage to Patricia Lanternier. Joseph was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and attended the LaSalette Shrine Services. He was an avid Chicago White Sox Fan. He enjoyed Gardening and Working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia; his two dogs, Sparky and Meesha; dear friends, Reggie (Chuck) Poepping, Julie (Ken) Poepping, Randy (Janice) Richter and their families.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Yuknis; nieces and nephews, Ben Yunkis, Don (Linda) Yuknis, Annette (Gary) French, Chris (Jack) Ceremuga, Dorothy (Dick) Chervin, Vicky (Alan) Sowka, Leonard Yuknis.

Joseph's family would also like to thank special friends, Bernie (Donna) Schyvinck. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Frank (Lucy), Leonard (Evelyn), Ben Yuknis.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010, at 1 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Parish Cemetery.
