With the opening day of the new adventure park coming soon to Bristol Woods County Park/Pringle Nature Center, I’d like everyone to really ask themselves — is it really worth it?

Following the coverage of progression of this “partnership” in the Kenosha News, you can see there’s a new naturalist there — did the county fire the previous naturalist because she disagreed with the placement of the course in that park and hire a “yes sir” naturalist who wouldn’t fight it?

Many think this will be a benefit to the center, and it won’t. What will the county do once they see that this decision is losing the nature center money?

This went from being the greenest and quietest park to what will now have nuisance patrons. When people voiced their opinions against it, we were ignored and told to go to other parks (that charge admission) if we didn’t like it. For a place that was created to preserve the natural beauty by the families that donated the land to create the park, the county is very much hellbent on destroying it all in the name of a few easy dollars for them.

Remember, you vote with your dollar. Vote to make sure Boundless Adventures leaves Bristol and Wisconsin by not supporting it, and help turn Bristol Woods back into the nature preserve it was meant to be when it was first opened.
