So Fox News is the president’s propaganda machine. Donald Trump hears comments from his favorite Fox News commentators on current events, and he will call in to have some chosen items for them to pass on as legitimate news.
Truth is not truth unless it comes from Trump, no matter how ridiculous or erroneous his tweets or misstatements may be. In past years political prisoners would be bombarded day after day over loud speakers with a constant litany of sayings from the illustrious leader on what they are to believe ... it’s called brainwashing.
The president has elevated the method of indoctrination to the most effective system ever by using the megaphone of Fox News. We have an obligation to stand up against those who say “truth is what I say it is.” I say no 1,000 times, no.
Truth is based on verifiable facts and not alternative facts that come out of this White House almost daily. There are fact-checker organizations that monitor all of the lies and misstatements, and one such accumulation is into the thousands in Trump’s term already. We have elected Trump to lead us, but I believe he is leading us down a rabbit hole.
He cannot be elected for another term — unless you don’t care that he has found truth to be elusive, doesn’t care about trashing our institutions of checks and balances and ignores the Constitution to serve his desire to be supreme ruler.
