When: 7 tonight

Where: Ameche Field (8701 26th Ave.)

Broadcast: WLIP-AM 1050

Series note: The teams first met in 1964, and Tremper holds a 35-22-1 lead in the all-time series. … Bradford has narrowed the gap significantly in recent history, though, having won 13 of the last 16 meetings, including four straight. … The Red Devils won last year's matchup, 23-7, in Week 5 at Bradford Stadium. The Red Devils jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead courtesy of then-junior Sayge Terrell's 87-yard kickoff return for a TD to open the game and then-sophomore Damarion Williams' 55-yard TD catch. … Tremper's last win in the rivalry came in Week 9 of the 2014 season by a 21-14 score. … Bradford has won all three postseason meetings between the teams, 21-13 (2007), 56-20 (2009) and 28-14 (2010).

Tremper player to watch: Senior receiver Brennan Eckert (5-11, 180 pounds) has 14 catches for 105 yards and a TD. … "Really solid player that keeps getting better as the year goes along," Tremper coach Jared McGranahan said.

Key stat: Don't expect a lot of scoring in this one. In fact, the first to double digits might win. … The Trojans are averaging just 14.7 points per game and have surpassed 20 just twice, in a 43-7 Week 1 win over Milwaukee Pius XI and a 27-14 Week 4 victory over Racine Case. … The Red Devils are averaging just 8.9 points per game, have been shutout twice and have yet to score more than 14 in a game.

FYI: One team will end a losing streak tonight. Bradford has dropped four in a row, while Tremper has lost three straight. … Both teams have been virtually eliminated from playoff contention. Tremper will likely miss the postseason for the eighth consecutive year, while Bradford will likely see its three-year postseason streak end. … Bradford coach Troy Bowe graduated from Tremper in 1984 but attended both schools.
