Player to watch: Indian Trail senior Amariyon Lynch-Gordon (5-11, 160 pounds) is one of the most versatile players in the area. He plays wide receiver, defensive back and returns kicks and has 86 rushing yards, 128 receiving yards, two TDs and two INTs this season. ... "Amariyon has the ability to play multiple positions and has through the first four games," Indian Trail coach Paul Hoffman said. "He is explosive and elusive."
Key stat; Indian Trail must avoid a slow start. Though the Haws have rallied late for wins the last two weeks, with the exception of a 54-34 win over Zion-Benton (Ill.) in Week 2, Indian Trail has been outscored 34-17 in the first half this season. Coming back from a deficit against the Sabers isn't likely.
