The Wisconsin State Baseball Coaches Association, in conjunction with Prep Baseball Report, released its first Division-1 rankings of the season Tuesday.
And they were packed with Kenosha County teams.
Bradford, which is off to a 7-0 start, debuted at No. 5, while 7-1 Indian Trail opened at No. 7.
Central and Tremper, meanwhile, received honorable mention.
Waunakee was ranked No. 1.
The Red Devils and Trojans will slug it out this week in a key three-game Southeast Conference series. Tremper hosts Tuesday and Thursday, while Bradford hosts Wednesday. All games begin at 4:30 p.m.
The Hawks play a three-game SEC set against Racine Case, on the road Tuesday and Thursday and at home Wednesday. The first two game are at 4:30 p.m., while the finale is at 7 p.m.
Central, meanwhile, plays a Southern Lakes Conference doubleheader at Union Grove beginning at 4 p.m. today, will host Waukesha West in a non-conference game at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday and will play a single SLC game at Union Grove at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The top-ranked teams in the other divisions were Waupun in Division-2, Saint Mary Catholic in Division-3 and Webster in Division-4.
