Kenosha Kingfish centerfielder Brendan Hueth extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a leadoff single Tuesday night in Traverse City, Mich.
But that was all the offense, just that hit, the Kingfish could muster from there.
Traverse City extended its Northwoods League-record win streak to 18 straight with a 3-0 victory.
Starting pitcher Andrew Hoffman pitched six scoreless innings to earn the victory. He allowed just the hit to Hueth and a walk.
Kenosha’s Ben Stephens took the loss, as he allowed three runs on four hits, four walks and struck out six.

Former Kenosha Twins President Bob Lee threw out the first pitch prior to a June game at Simmons Field. Lee was on hand with a number of Twins alumni, including Pat Mahomes, who was the featured guest.
