Kenosha Kingfish centerfielder Brendan Hueth extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a leadoff single Tuesday night in Traverse City, Mich.

But that was all the offense, just that hit, the Kingfish could muster from there.

Traverse City extended its Northwoods League-record win streak to 18 straight with a 3-0 victory.

Starting pitcher Andrew Hoffman pitched six scoreless innings to earn the victory. He allowed just the hit to Hueth and a walk.

Kenosha’s Ben Stephens took the loss, as he allowed three runs on four hits, four walks and struck out six.
