Bolton earns All-Metro honors
After a strong sophomore season, Shoreland Lutheran’s Quentin Bolton earned second-team All-Metro Classic Conference honors when the teams were announced Tuesday.
Shoreland senior Andrew Koestler was named honorable mention, as were St. Joseph senior Tim Berry and St. Joseph freshman Andrew Alia.
Greedale Martin Luther senior Trequan Carrington, who led the Spartans to the WIAA Division-3 state title, was named the conference’s Player of the Year.
Joining Carrington on the first team were Ace Evans and Xzavier Jones of Martin Luther, Quinn Cafferty and Tyrese Hunter of Racine St. Catherine’s and Alex Antetokounmpo of Whitefish Bay Dominican.
UWP v-ball sets camp dates
The UW-Parkside volleyball program announced its summer camp dates Tuesday.
There will be four different camps, beginning with the Elite Camp Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 11.
The serve and pass clinic will be July 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m., the setting clinic will be July 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and the hitting clinic will be July 17 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Kenosha Bowmen hosting league
The Kenosha Bowmen are taking registration for a 10-week spring league.
The league will be on Mondays from April 8 through June 10, and each team will consist of four shooters.
The sponsor fee is $40 per team. The shooting fee is $80 for non-members and $60 for members.
All fees must be paid by the fourth week of league play.

RIB to host Roy Case Shoot in April
The Racine Instinctive Bowmen will host the Roy Case Traditional Shoot from April 6-7.
While targets and yardages will be set to favor traditional recurve and longbow shooters, all shooting styles are welcome (no crossbows or broadheads).
There will be 15 3-D targets on the outdoor ranges and 15 3-D targets at the elevated platform. Registration both days is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The fee is $12 for adults, $9 for juniors (ages 12-17) and free for cadets (11 and under) with a paid adult.
Special all-day fees are $15 and $12.
Lunch and breakfast will be available both days.
