A year after placing third, the Burlington/Badger/Wilmot gymnastics team will make a return appearance at the WIAA Division-1 State Meet today in Wisconsin Rapids.

B/B/W advanced to the meet with a second-place finish at the sectional Saturday in Burlington. The team finished with 146.85 points, less than five behind defending state champion Franklin Combined. Today's action kicks off at 2 p.m.

Hartland Arrowhead, Hartford, Hudson, Madison Memorial, Manitowoc Lincoln, Marshfield, Middleton and Waukesha Combined also advanced to the team competition.

Kenosha Combined will be represented by three gymnasts in the individual competition, which will be held Saturday. Maggie Losch (floor exercise), Grace Corcoran (floor) and Megan Zeller (vault) qualified for the event with top-five performances at the Burlington sectional.

Losch placed third in the floor exercise as a freshman at last year's state meet.

Individual qualifiers for B/B/W are Annie Murphy (balance beam), Maddy Bronson (balance beam, all-around), Malia Bronson (floor exercise) and Regan Cassidy (uneven bars).
