Fenza, Hall earn honorable mention
UW-Parkside softball players Kellie Fenza and Adrien Hall received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honorable mention.
Fenza was the only Parkside player to start all 52 games this season and led the team in batting average (.329), hits (51), runs (34), total bases (68), walks (28), on-base percentage (.438) and stolen bases (26). The senior outfielder also had 14 multiple-hit games.
Hall, a junior infielder/outfielder, started 42 of the 51 games she played in this season. She led the Rangers in triples and RBI (14) during GLIAC play, while finishing behind Fenza in batting average (.270), hits (24) and on-base percentage. She also tied for the team lead with six doubles.
“I’m happy to see Kellie and AK both honored for their good seasons with us after leading the way offensively during GLIAC play,” Parkside coach Kristin Ortman said. “Kellie had a great final year with us and we’re really going to miss her offense and defense, and AK had a very strong second half of the season for us.”
