Hawks cruise to win over HOPE Christian

T’J Fullilove scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Indian Trail boys basketball team past HOPE Christian 82-59 in a non-conference game Saturday in Kenosha.

The senior center knocked down seven of shots from the field for the Hawks, who improved to 13-8 with the win. Anthony Savaglio added 16 points, followed by Scooter Terrien with 13 and Lamar McKnight with 10.

Indian Trail took a 19-point lead into intermission and outscored HOPE Christian 39-35 in the second half. Led by Savaglio’s four 3-pointers, the Hawks connected on 11 shots from beyond the arc.

Senior Marco Metcalf paced HOPE Christian (10-12) with 12 points.

Kenosha Vultures to host meeting

The Kenosha Vultures high school rugby team will host a season kickoff meeting for players and parents 6 p.m. Monday at Christian Life School, 10700 75th St.

Attendees should use the school’s south entrance and go to room 204.

Coaches will discuss the season schedule and expectations for players and parents.
