Indian Trail quarterback Argjent Ismaili, left, looks to pass during a game against Tremper earlier this season. The Hawks defeated Oak Creek, 12-0, in a Southeast Conference game at Jaskwhich Stadium on Friday night.

Oak Creek (5-2, 4-1 SEC) at Indian Trail (5-2, 4-1 SEC)

When: 7 tonight

Where: Jaskwhich Stadium (6800 60th Ave.)

Broadcast: WGTD Live on Facebook

Series note: The Hawks hold a 5-3 all-time edge since Indian Trail became a varsity program in 2012. … In a Week 6 thriller at Oak Creek last season, Indian Trail emerged with a 13-6 victory to gain automatic postseason eligibility. … The teams have met once in the postseason, a WIAA Division-1 first-round matchup at Jaskwhich in 2013. The Hawks won, 52-28.

Player to watch: Indian Trail senior defensive end Nijae King (5-11, 180 pounds) has been a big force this season with 14 tackles, including nine for loss and a team-high 7.5 sacks. His sack total is good for third in the SEC, according to … "Nijae is a high-motor kid that brings it every play," Indian Trail coach Paul Hoffman said. "He has developed from a wide receiver into a dominant defensive end over the last three years."

Key stat: Oak Creek has allowed 153.7 passing yards per game, a fairly high amount for a high school team. Indian Trail junior quarterback Argjent Ismaili leads the SEC with 1,267 passing yards and is tied for first with 12 passing TDs.

FYI: Both teams have secured automatic playoff eligibility with one regular-season game left after tonight, but this game has plenty of implications. First of all, it should factor significantly into playoff seeding. Secondly, both teams are tied for second in the SEC behind 5-0 Franklin. The Knights host the Sabers in Week 9, so tonight is a practically a must-win for both teams to have any shot at a share of the conference title with Franklin.
