The Tremper boys golf team and Indian Trail sophomore Dylan Moore are headed to next week’s WIAA Division-1 sectional round.
Tremper was third overall at Tuesday’s regional at Ives Grove Links, while Moore was fourth individually.
Franklin won the team title with a 316, followed by Racine Case with a 334, Tremper with a 340 and Racine Horlick with a 346. The top four teams earned sectional berths.
Rounding out the team scores were Indian Trail with a 347, Oak Creek with a 355 and Bradford with a 405.
Junior Cameron Huss led the Trojans with a third-place round of 75 (38-37). Following Huss were sophomore Tyler Dahl with an 84 (43-41), sophomore Dylan Buss with an 88 (45-43), senior Steven Spizzirri with a 93 (45-48) and junior Finley Johnson with a 98 (49-49).
Moore’s 77 (39-38) punched his sectional ticket. Senior teammate Max Winslow (44-45) and freshman Alex Martin (43-46) were next with an 89 for the Hawks, followed by sophomore Tyler Fisel (42-50) and Logan Dempsey (45-47) with a 92.
Bradford was led by senior Alec Ruffolo’s 87 (45-42), followed by senior John Mauser with a 97 (49-48), freshman Mitchell Swanson with a 108 (53-55) and sophomore Brodie Klinefelter with a 113 (55-58).
Franklin senior Nolan Ruffing earned medalist honors with a round of 71.
The sectional is May 29 at Brown Deer Park.
